Actually, after some intensive tests, looks like that the default value for volume should be 50 and not 100 as it is now. So probably I'll release a M1FX 7.1 soon, with a new volume range available, I guess 0-150 should be enough. After those values the equalizer is completely full and static and my speakers starts to emit crackling sounds... ;) :P

M1FX 8.0 released

- Changed to "50" default volume level. This makes the equalizer to be more in sync and better displayed in the interface
- Put release date in the window title
- Changed some text colors
- Compiled with the new MAME MinGW-GCC tools.
- Re-organized a bit internal source code. Still in TODO list add comments and clean-up.

Download links in the first topic of the thread. As usual it will be included in 0.160

Is there a way to make it Auto play? I always have to hit play before the song starts. Also will we be able to record WAV. files?

1) There's already support for recording WAV files. They are saved in \AUDIO\ folder. If you haven't in your setup, just create it. You simply have to click "Start recording WAV output" button...
2) There's no Autoplay by design. Though I'll think of implement it.
