MAMEUIFX 0.164 released.

Updated to MAME 0.164

* Changelog from 0.163:

- Added support in Interface for ProgettoSnaps Movies
- Added to Interface new option "Show confirmation dialog on exit"
- Added game Resolution and Refresh Rate info to the Interface Statusbar
- Added Savestate and Dumping Status folder to the Interface
- Added new OpenGL Shaders properties page to the Interface
- Changed Background Color of all dialogs in the Interface. XP Silver style color is used
- Fixed Background Color painting in the Interface game Picture Area
- Fixed display of Japanese Text in the Interface game Info Area
- Fixed with an hack MAMETESTERS bug ID 04701 (blandia: Graphic garbage)
- Removed terrible DIRECTORIES.INI hack from Interface source code

As i saw on THIS video, the new Mame 0.164 will have the Link support

Does the new MameUIFX haves it?

If it does, tell me how, if it doesnt, its fine

If it's available in MAME core, it's available in FX as well. How does it work? Very good question... I don't know and I'm not interested...

UIFX should have it, i dont see any reason why mamesick would remove that. As the link support is a contribution of SailorSat and i know her well, i could ask her for a "how to", if you wish :) . The reason why she did this, can you see here: http://for-amusement-only.de/news/arcad ... sa-update/

Those are real Daytonas, but how they are linked, that is MAME. One PC to rule them all :mrgreen: .

ok.. it seems easy to setup:

relevant part in your mame.ini :

# CORE COMM OPTIONS

comm_localhost            0.0.0.0
comm_localport            15112
comm_remotehost           127.0.0.1
comm_remoteport           15112


comm_remotehost needs to point to the ip adress of the next pc.
pc1 points to pc2, pc2 points to pc3 etc.
Last pc points to pc1 again.
After this, just start the game and in the setup/service menue of the game, you need to setup the network of pc1 to "master" and the rest to "slave" (or "unit2", "unit3" etc. depends on the game).
Thats it... its the "old" ring network... enjoy
